Creating a stand-out product design in the already saturated energy category was the challenge. Various iterations were created, drawing upon numerous inspirations, including the product’s proprietary ingredient Fucoidan – a super-nutrient found in a particular species of brown seaweed off the coast of Tonga. Leveraging the company’s signature LIMU blue (Pantone 2935) and the natural sheen of the aluminum can, a bold design stood out from the rest.
Bold design, for a bold, new product.
Inverted angled lines paired with a slim, graphic treatment to frame the product name provided the visual focal point. As the lines continued around the can, other informative infographics were added to call-out the specialty nature of this product, not only an energy booster, but an power-packed supplement complete with 20g of clean premium protein, 1oz of Limu Moui, 100mg of caffeine, and to round out the proprietary blend, 7g of soluble fiber.
